Partners With You - Newsletter - December

Well we've all made it to the end of the year and I think I can speak for most of us when I say that 2009 has been interesting!
Whether 2009 has been a year to remember or one you would rather forget we would like to thank your for your continued support and interest in Partners With You. Next year is looking very exciting with our newest venture "Magical Minutes" launching and several partnerships and new opportunities in the offing.
Whatever 2010 looks like for you we hope that you will stay in touch with us and no matter what, that you are always able to squeeze your lemon!

Magical Minutes ™
A new service from Partners With You
Do you find it hard to stand up and explain what you do succinctly, memorably and effectively?
Do you hate networking because you might have to sell?
Does the phrase monthly minute, elevator pitch or 60 second slot bring you out in a cold sweat?
Join us on Thursday 28th January for a Magical-Minute workshop!
Neil is back on the stage!
Oh yes he is!
Some of you may have noticed that Neil hasn't been around as much in 2009 as he has been doing more acting and taking more of a back seat role at Partners With You. As those of you who received our Spring newsletter will know Neil is 'Dad' in Life Bites on the Disney channel and he recorded his 2nd series earlier this year.
He's also been to the Philippines this autumn filming a docu-drama for the Discovery channel and is now in Porthcawl for the panto season (oh no he's not!... oh yes he is!)
If you are in the area he'd love to see you (www.grandpavilion.co.uk). He's the baddy and gets to wear tight leather! In the meantime if you have some work for us - call Sally!
A new face in the office
Mary joins the team
We are really delighted to have Mary on board - initially part time but with her organisational skills (originally from the USA, mother of 5 and trained accountant) we are already reaping the benefits of her involvement. We look forward to introducing you to her over the coming months.
Recent projects
A busy summer!
We've had a busy few months, hence our lack of summer newsletter. There are always some people who are surprised by the range of services that we can provide so we thought you might like to see a sample of the sort of projects that have been keeping us busy.
We've:
- provided actors to be filmed for a client's website;
- worked with 6th form students on their interview, presentation and assertiveness skills;
- run Inspiring Confidence workshops for college lecturers;
- run another great Staff Reps Training day forCancer Research UK using role-play, forum theatre and some of our workshop techniques;
- coached senior executives & sales staff about to embark on road shows, sales & presentation programmes;
- included segments of our presentation workshop within other trainer's workshops to make them more interactive;
- run assertion skills workshops for clients in sectors ranging from charity to healthcare to local government;
- created a program of ½ day workshops for client facing staff to improve their communication skills;
- run an effective networking workshop for IFA's;
and of course, run a range of 1 & 2 day presentation workshops - see our most recent presentation case study with Breast Cancer Care.
One area that we are receiving more requests than ever about isteambuilding workshops and events to help with newly created teams, merged teams and teams that perhaps have fewer people doing what feels like more work. We can run anything from ½ day sessions to 2 day events and make a difference - have a look at how we were able to helpAddaction
