Forum Theatre
Forum Theatre

Oh no, please don’t let me have to get up on stage.

Absolutely not!

Think of Forum Theatre as a play about your organisation where you can direct the ending you want to achieve. Each bespoke Forum Theatre session is based on a relevant situation specific to your needs. From 8 to 80+ members of your staff will be involved in a fun learning experience, which will allow them to grasp concepts more quickly and retain information for longer.

Forum Theatre is a form of role play where two or more actors play all the roles in front of an audience of delegates with a facilitator or actor playing the role of guide. The theatre starts with a short scene, that can be scripted or partially improvised and the audience is then either directed by the guide to identify a variety of behaviours and the consequences of this or they direct the action to create the consequences of their chosen behaviours or attitudes. Forum theatre is particularly good for allowing delegates to work out for themselves what behaviours do (and do not) constitute good practice.
